Year 2 Worm Monitors
On Wednesday Mrs Elmore taught us how to look after the worm farms and be responsible worm monitors.
We learned what should be put in the green worm bins, the blue recycling bin and what should be taken home in our lunchboxes.
Anything that was once living can be put in the worm bin for the worms to eat. Citrus fruits need to go home in your lunchbox because they give the worms a sore tummy.
Milk boxes, yoghurt containers, plastic bottles and cans go in the blue recycling bin.
Plastic like glad wrap, chip packets and muesli bar wrappers must go home in your lunchbox.
This is what a litterless lunchbox looks like. Does YOUR lunchbox look like this?
