Orchard Writing

On Wednesday we became the new guardians of the Year 2 orchard. Read some of our stories about our visit to the orchard.

The Orchard
Sitting in the colourful Year 2 orchard there are a lot of great things. There I could see trees and 2 DVDs, unripe apples and fruit. I could hear cicadas shouting at us (they were very noisy) and children and a wind chime. At the end it sounded like a fire work blowing up in my head. I am happy we are the guardians of the orchard.

The Orchard
Yesterday we went to the green orchard. It was beautiful. I saw colourful flowers, a christmas scarecrow and plants. I felt the cold breeze on my skin. I heard wind chimes clinking and bees buzzing. I smelt purple lavender. It was incredible and exciting. I felt amazing. I enjoyed sitting in the orchard.

The Orchard
Yesterday we went to the colourful green orchard. It was beautiful. I could see red and green apples, purple flowers, silly scarecrows, leafy trees and very green lemons. I could smell lovely lavender. I could hear bugs buzzing, kids, birds tweeting and trees rustling. I could feel the cool breeze, leaves and dirt. We were sitting on mosaics. I can't wait until the lemons are ripe and ready to make into lemon juice. It was fun and incredible. I like the orchard.

  1. I loved making putiputi with Mrs Elmore. I think it looked pretty. I found it confusing making it but Mrs Elmore helped me.
